Gastroenterologist to join a well-respected single-specialty practice. 24 GIs include four hospital-based interventionalists, two Hepatologists, one Pathologist and one Radiologist. The interventionalists perform real-time ultrasound-guided biopsy and therapeutic interventions, complex therapeutic pancreaticobiliary endoscopy, celiac plexus blocks, deployment of endoprostheses, hemorrhoidal band ligation, etc. 3 fully-certified Endoscopy Centers, a Pathology Lab, an Anesthesia company, a specialty Pharmacy and have a large research staff which is involved in approximately thirty clinical research and medical device protocols. Opportunities to teach Residents are available. The appropriate candidate is a personable individual who can work independently within the framework of a large group and who has strong clinical, endoscopic and interpersonal skills. ERCP/EUS/Hepatology interest is a plus but not required.
